Are the prices correct on the website?
Yes, they are correct with no catches, everything listed is included in the price. We do have extras that can be purchased if required, these are all “Nice to Have” but definitely not necessary to have an amazing day with us. These are all listed on the “Upgrades” Page.

How are all your reviews 5*… are they fake?
No, they are all genuine from real couples we have over 1000 weddings under our belt and have 1000 5* reviews. We are all so proud to be part of the team at Ridgeway 

General Planning & Timeline

When should we book our planning meeting?
You can have as many meetings as you want with our team to support you along your wedding journey just use our booking system to find a time that suits you. If you just have a quick query and don’t want a meeting, our team are available on the phone to answer any questions you may have.
It is a good idea to pop along to some of our showcases, dates can be found on the Wedding Showcase page. It’s a great way to get to know the team and ask the questions you want…Oh did we mention there are Free snacks and drinks
We’ll reach out to schedule your final meeting approximately 2 months before your Big Day.

Can we visit Ridgeway again before the big day?
Absolutely! We encourage you to come for another visit or two. Whether it’s for measurements, showing family around, or meeting suppliers, just let us know and we’ll schedule a time that works.

When do you need our final guest numbers?
Final numbers are required the 1st of the month, 2 months before your wedding to ensure catering and table planning run smoothly. For Example, if you get married in August, your final numbers will be due by 1st June.

When is the final payment due?
The balance is due on the 1st of the month, the month before your Big Day. We’ll send you a reminder with full details.

Do you only have one colour chair bow for us to choose?
We have a wide variety of colours and shades for you to choose from to decorate the marquee for your special day. However, we no longer provide hessian as one of these options.

 

On-the-Day Timing & Setup

What time can we arrive on the wedding day?
Access to the venue begins at 11:00am unless otherwise arranged. Our team will be on hand to help guide everyone from the moment you arrive.

When can suppliers start setting up?
Suppliers can start setting up from 10:00am on the day. If early access is required, please discuss this with us in advance.

Can we drop off the decor or supplies the day before?
Yes, where possible, we allow drop-off of non-perishable items the day before your wedding. We’ll confirm closer to the time depending on availability.

Are we allowed standard/biodegradable confetti or petals?
We don’t allow confetti or petals whether standard or biodegradable as this can often blow onto the golf course and is difficult to clean up. However, bubbles are a great alternative for that perfect photo. We have two professional machines you can hire if required.

Venue & Facilities

Is there accommodation on site or nearby?
While Ridgeway doesn’t currently offer overnight accommodation, we have a list of local hotels, B&Bs, and guesthouses we can recommend – all within a 15-minute drive.

Is parking available for guests?
Yes! We offer ample free parking for all guests, including priority spaces for disabled guests and suppliers.

Is Ridgeway wheelchair accessible?
Yes, the entire venue is
step-free and accessible. We also have accessible restrooms and can reserve parking close to the entrance.

Do you have highchairs and baby changing facilities?
Absolutely – we have highchairs available on request and a clean, private baby changing area onsite.

 

Food, Drink & Catering

Can we taste the food beforehand?
Unfortunately we don’t offer a menu tasting and this is one of the reasons we can include so much for your special day at such a reasonable price. If you are worried, read the reviews. We promise you that you won’t be disappointed.

Can we make changes to the menu?
Our catering team is happy to work with you on dietary needs, or cultural preferences.

Can we bring our own alcohol?
We offer drinks packages, but if you have a special request (like a favourite gin or champagne), we’ll try to source it. Corkage options are also available by prior arrangement.

What about vegetarian, vegan or gluten-free guests?
We cater for all dietary needs– just let us know when finalising your guest list and menu.

Decor, Music & Personal Touches

Can we bring our own decorations?
Definitely! You’re welcome to personalise the space to reflect your style. We just ask that you avoid anything that might damage surfaces (e.g., nails, glue).

Are candles allowed?
Unfortunately we don’t allow real candles due to safety.. LED  flameless candles are a great option which can be even more versatile.

Can we bring in our own DJ or band?
We work with award-winning DJs and entertainers as part of many of our package. If you want to bring your own DJ, We’ll need their insurance and PAT certificates in advance. We can only have bands or live entertainment in the clubhouse and not the marquee

What time does the music need to finish?
Music and bar service end at midnight unless otherwise agreed in advance. We kindly ask that guests depart by 12:00am.

 

Photography, Videography & Memories

Are there any restrictions on photography or drones?
Photography is very welcome throughout the venue. Drones are allowed with prior notice and appropriate licensing/insurance.

Do you provide props for photos?
Yes! Our packages often include fun items like our Magic Photo Mirror, vintage props, and our sweet cart – perfect for photo ops.

 

Extras, Surprises & Unique Touches

Yes – we’re proud to be a pet-friendly venue. Whether your dog is walking you down the aisle or popping in for photos, we’ll help plan it all.

Who is our main point of contact?
Your dedicated Ridgeway Wedding & Events Manager will be your go-to from start to finish. You’ll receive their direct contact details as your date approaches.

What happens in case of bad weather?
We’ve got it covered – literally! Our indoor ceremony space and Marquee are ready for any weather, with a seamless plan B in place so you won’t need to worry.

What if we have to make a last-minute change?
Life happens. We’ll do our best to accommodate any changes right up to the week before your wedding – just get in touch as soon as possible.
