The Platinum Package
is our traditional “full-day” wedding experience.
A romantic ceremony, drinks reception, three-course wedding breakfast, evening buffet and the full Ridgeway party atmosphere from start to finish.

The Twilight Package
is our modern, “late-afternoon” alternative.
A later ceremony, an evening buffet instead of a formal meal, and all the energy, atmosphere and magic you’d expect from a Ridgeway celebration — just at a more affordable level.

How much does a wedding at Ridgeway typically cost?
Our all-inclusive packages start from £2,950, with most couples choosing options based on guest numbers and upgrades. Because so much is included, couples often find Ridgeway offers significantly better value compared to venues where everything is added on separately.

What’s included in your wedding packages?
Our packages include everything you need for a complete wedding day — from ceremony setup and marquee décor to food, entertainment, and evening reception. We’ve carefully designed our packages so you don’t need to source lots of separate suppliers.

Is everything organised for us?
Yes. Our experienced team guide you through every step of the planning process. From your first enquiry to your final meeting, we make sure everything is clear, organised, and stress-free.

How far in advance should we book?

Are the prices on the website correct?Yes. Our prices are accurate and transparent with no hidden costs. Everything listed within each package is included. We do offer optional upgrades, but these are completely optional — your day will be fantastic without them.

What’s the difference between Platinum and Twilight?
Platinum is our traditional full-day wedding package with a three-course wedding breakfast and evening buffet.
Twilight is a later-start celebration with an evening buffet and party atmosphere, offering a more affordable option while still including the Ridgeway experience.

Planning & Meetings

When should we book our planning meetings?
You can book meetings with our team at any time during your planning journey using our booking system. We’ll also contact you around two months before your wedding to arrange your final planning meeting.

Can we visit again before the wedding?Absolutely. You’re welcome to revisit for measurements, supplier meetings, or to show family around. Just contact us to arrange a convenient time.

When do you need our final guest numbers?
Final numbers are due on the 1st of the month, two months before your wedding.
For example: An August wedding requires final numbers by 1st June.

When is the final balance due?
Your final balance is due on the 1st of the month before your wedding. We’ll send a reminder beforehand.

Food & Drink

Can we taste the food beforehand?
We don’t offer menu tastings. This helps us keep our packages highly inclusive and competitively priced. Our reviews speak for themselves — couples consistently praise the food quality.

Can we adapt the menu?
Yes. We’re happy to accommodate dietary requirements and cultural preferences. Just let us know when confirming your final details.

Do you cater for vegetarian, vegan or gluten-free guests?
Yes. We cater for all dietary requirements — just inform us when submitting final guest numbers.

Can we bring our own alcohol?
We offer drinks packages and can sometimes source specific drinks on request. Corkage options may be available by prior arrangement.

On-the-Day Timings

What time can we arrive?
Access begins from 11:00am unless otherwise arranged.

When can suppliers set up?
Suppliers can arrive from 10:00am. Earlier access may be possible by prior agreement.

Can we drop décor off the day before?
Yes, subject to availability and prior arrangement.

What time does music finish?
Music and bar service finish at midnight.

Ceremony & Venue

Where does the ceremony take place?
Ceremonies take place either in our Garden Room or outside overlooking the golf course (weather permitting).

What happens if it rains?
We always have a seamless indoor backup option ready. You won’t need to worry about weather plans.

Is Ridgeway wheelchair accessible?
Yes. The venue is fully accessible with step-free access and accessible restrooms.

Is parking available?
Yes. We offer ample free parking for all guests.

Décor & Personalisation

Can we bring our own decorations?
Yes. You’re welcome to personalise the space. We simply ask that nothing damages surfaces (no nails or glue).

Are candles allowed?
Real candles are not permitted for safety reasons. LED candles are a great alternative.

Do you have different chair bow colours?
Yes. We offer a wide range of colours and shades (excluding hessian).

Is confetti allowed?
We do not allow confetti or petals due to the golf course. Bubbles are a perfect alternative — we even have professional bubble machines available.

Entertainment

Can we bring our own DJ or band?
Our in-house DJ is included in most packages. You may bring your own DJ (no package discount applies), but we require insurance and PAT certification. Live bands are permitted in the clubhouse only.

Photography & Drones

Are drones allowed?
Yes, with appropriate licensing, insurance, and prior notice.

Are there good photo locations?
Yes — including the golf course, marquee surroundings, and outdoor areas. A golf buggy is available for couple and photographer access to scenic spots.

We don’t offer onsite accommodation, but there are several nearby hotels, guest houses and travel options within 5–20 minutes of Ridgeway. Please see our recommended list below.
